Hi friend!

I’m grateful for you, and want to give you something I think you’ll love.

I know it’s a little cliche to throw the gratitude word around this week, but I’m of the opinion that gratitude is never cliche, and always appropriate. I try and do a good job of letting the people in my life know I appreciate them throughout the year, but this particular week feels like a special opportunity to heap extra doses of, ahem, thanksgiving on the people who make my dreams come true – that’s you!

One of my favorite ways to spend my time is interviewing wise, cutting-edge folks who are living their dreams and sharing their “secrets.” In fact, my first book, Lives Charmed, was made up of interviews with famous people I saw up close and personal through my dog walking biz who were living magical lives. I was deeply supported through this front-row seat, and wanted to share what I was learning from them about creating good vibes and good fortune.

I still strongly believe in the power of interviews, of asking questions, of what we can learn from each other. It’s why I do the Beautiful Writers Podcast with Danielle LaPorte, and why every couple months I interview one of my favorite experts in the writing and publishing world for the Beautiful Writers Group. One of the most ah-ha-packed of those expert interviews this year was with a guy you may have heard of, Tim Grahl, author of YOUR FIRST 1,000 COPIES.

Tim once had five clients on the New York Times list at the same time. In this chat we jam on the three keys to connecting your book to readers; how to use your opt-in to build long-lasting connections to last your entire career; how to REMOVE 1-star reviews from Amazon (legally), and the importance of being relentlessly helpful (vs. selfish marketing) as you build your platform via outreach, content, and permission–among other powerful stuff. BEST OF ALL? He’s enormously comforting and just listening to him makes you WANT to be more proactive. (You’re welcome! :))

Have a beautiful rest of your week and here’s hoping you and your family are wrapped in love. And if you have a second, I’d love to hear a bit about what you’re grateful for, in your writing world or in the world.

Yours,

Lindathankful
